Believe us, we know. Figuring out Building Codes is a pain. But, we all need one way to refer to locations so that we can do what needs to be done. Without them, our installation crews could wander around campus for hours or our DNS administrators could take days to figure out the proper subnet. Using building codes saves us time and so saves you time.

The Building Codes we are using are those that are in use by the University architects and the Plant Department. The form below is designed to help you figure out what the Building Code is for your location. Enter the name of the building and our database will be searched for the corresponding building code. Multiple names for the same building as well as common missspellings are included in the database so, given a try or two, you should be able to find your Building Code.

Hospital Locations: Please also enter the corridor the room is located in. Sometimes the Building Code is most easily found from the Corridor.
